Another year has passed and it’s time for all of us to be thankful for what we have. As an author with three children, I believe they are the most important thing in my life. I work hard to give them a good life and what i write about is meant to inspire them as well as every other child that picks up a book.
I’ve written over two dozen books yet I haven’t even reached my potential and I want to keep releasing books that help kids read. This is something I am dedicating the new year to. I want to help kids improve their reading comprehension and reading skills. These are skills they can take with them throughout their school years and into their working lives.
I have big plans for this year. I want to release at least one book per week, write and release a writing course for children to help them become our next generation of authors, go to schools and teach some writing classes, especially to those schools whose reading comprehension scores are below average. I want to make a difference in the lives of kids everywhere. If only one child benefits from this than we all benefit.
Things are rapidly changing in this country and around the world. The lives we used to live are now history. Government has put it’s hands in every part of our lives and no one can escape their clutches. Our kids are being brainwashed about things that we never even thought of when we were young. What used to be known as normal and mainstream is now thought of as hateful and terrorism.
I take no pride in what life has become and what I believe and teach my children is my duty and my role as a father, not the government’s or society or even the school’s role. These children are our future and if we are not careful, we are going to lose them.
Make sure you protect yourself from what is coming and teach your children well (as the song goes) for if you don’t, you will pay a heavy price.
Take care and may 2014 be a year of hope, love and peace for all!
